Rizal High Strength Type 1P blended cement is composed of Portland Clinker, Gypsum and Pozzolan Additives. This high strength cement is under CEMEX’s new Vertua eco-friendly product line, and is suitable for building “green,” resilient and massive structures with optimal performance but with lower carbon emissions.

Rizal High Strength is used for the following applications:

  • Mega and massive structures
  • Commercial buildings
  • Piers, wharfs, harbors
  • Residential Buildings
  • Bridges, roads, railway structures

Benefits:

  • Allows the addition of mineral additives (Like Fly Ash) to enhance concrete performance, providing the flexibility of usage and cost-effective balance of OPC
  • Provides for better durability in concrete with the blending of natural pozzolana material
  • Reduces the CO2 impact of concrete by as much as 11% vs Concrete produced with Type I OP

CEMEX Palitada King

CEMEX Palitada King Type N masonry cement is specially formulated and manufactured with superior properties for mortar applications.

CEMEX Palitada King is used for the following applications:

APO Masonry

APO Masonry Type M cement is a specially formulated hydraulic cement designed for masonry applications. It belongs to CEMEX's Vertua product line, which offers cement products manufactured with a reduced carbon footprint.

  • Higher Workability
    APO Masonry cement has excellent water retention capability, keeping the mortar workable for longer periods compared to ordinary Portland cement. This prevents quick drying and evaporation of water from the mix.
  • Less Plaster Cracking
    The air entraining property of this type of cement helps to alleviate internal pressure within the mortar caused by fluctuations in temperature and moisture.
  • Lower Carbon by Design
