CEMEX, Dream.Believe.Connect. Guide Iloilo students on career track

22 Jun 2016

As part of its thrust to help build educational platforms for Filipino youth, CEMEX Philippines Foundation recently partnered with Dream.Believe.Connect. (DBC) – a non-profit organization in Western Visayas, whose advocacy is to address education and job-skill mismatch among K-12 students. The Foundation brought junior high school students, endorsed by DBC, to the CEMEX Iloilo Terminal for a tour and lecture to guide them on their career decision-making based on their abilities and interests. CEMEX Holdings Philippines is one of the companies that support DBC in establishing a platform for the government, academe, and private sector to improve business literacy exchange and make it easier for students researching about the career track they want to take.

CHP’s subsidiaries Apo Cement Corporation and Solid Cement Corporation produce and market the well established cement brands APO and Rizal and other building materials in the country.
