Batangas community get health and safety training from CEMEX Philippines Foundation

A hundred community members participated in CEMEX Philippines Foundation’s “Kalusugan. Kaligtasan. Kahandaan.” Health and Safety Day at Barangay Simlong, Batangas City. The project, under the Foundation’s Build a Safe and Healthy Citizenry program, is composed of a lecture and workshop on disaster preparedness, first-aid, nutrition, and family planning.

The Foundation also donated medical equipment to the community such as glucometers, nebulizers, blood pressure monitor, and weighing scale among others. CEMEX’s corporate social responsibility projects focus on building communities and the environment.

CEMEX Philippines Foundation organized the “Kalusugan. Kaligtasan. Kahandaan.” Health and Safety Day in partnership with the barangay council of Simlong, Philippine Business for Social Progress, and CEMEX logistics team.
