CEMEX reiterates investment in the Philippines
As part of its thrust to support the Philippine administration’s ‘Build, Build, Build!’ infrastructure program, cement manufacturer CEMEX Holdings Philippines recently paid a courtesy visit to Department of Finance Secretary Carlos Dominguez to reiterate its partnership with the country as an investor and supplier of innovative building solutions. In the recent years, some of the company’s noteworthy investments include the announcement of the expansion of the Solid Cement Plant in Antipolo, establishment of a new finish mill at the APO Cement Plant in Cebu, and construction of marine distribution terminals in Manila, Iloilo, and Davao. These investments aim to significantly increase CEMEX’s capacity in its Luzon and Visayas plants.
