CEMEX rolls out health and safety training in Batangas community anew

Residents of Barangay Soro-soro in Batangas City participated in and benefitted from CEMEX Philippines Foundation’s “Kalusugan. Kaligtasan. Kahandaan.” (KKK) Program. Under the Foundation’s Build a Safe and Healthy Citizenry cluster, the program is composed of a lecture and workshop on disaster preparedness, first aid, nutrition, and family planning. The Foundation also donated medical equipment to the community such as digital infant weighing scale, mobile blood pressure monitor, and fetal doppler, among others. CEMEX previously implemented the program at Barangay Simlong, also in Batangas City. The activity was organized by CEMEX Philippines Foundation in partnership with the local barangay council, the Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP), and CEMEX logistics team.
